All American Quilt - 1930's vintage redwork pattern

Sample text. Block 1, The Lumberjack

Here is the first of the All-American quilt blocks; it spots in the top left-hand square of the quilt.
This represents the lumberjack, mighty blazer of trails thru western forests, whose work has added millions of dollars to the national wealth.
Trace this pattern to your material.
Colors: The trees are shades of brown, with the foliage dark green.  The lumberjack is in black, with a blue coat and hat.  His ax is light brown.  You need not follow these colors if you wish to use your imagination and produce better combinations.  But be sure to get in as much contrast as possible.

The 31 motifs of the All American Quilt

There are 31 pictures in the layout. The darker squares representing the position of the quilt blocks. At the center are three picture squares, they will contain flags.

The designs are 6" x 6".

The quilt has a very unique and  interesting layout as designed.  Feel free to arrange your squares in any way that suits YOUR needs!
